Christine Kenworthy and Nancy Kerby are principals of Terra Firma Ventures, LLC, a consulting firm providing land services in the areas of acquisitions and divestitures, advisory and process design, as well as data cleansing and transition to the energy industry since 1997. They have both worked in all aspects of land over the course of their 30+ year careers.
Before founding Terra Firma Ventures, LLC in 1997, Ms Kenworthy was CEO and Land VP of Cambridge Oil Company and a Petroleum Landman for various companies, including National Oil Company. She began A&D consulting in 1990. She has a bachelor’s degree in business, majoring in Petroleum Land Management from the University of Houston-DT. She is a member of NALTA, ALTA, NADOA, HADOA, AAPL, and HAPL. She currently serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations.
Prior to joining Terra Firma in 2002 as a Principal, Ms. Kerby was the owner and President of the Kerby Group, an A&D consulting firm. Her prior positions include Director of Acquisitions for Unocal, Acquisitions Manager for RAMCO Oil & Gas Company, Director of Investor Relations with Plains Resources, and District Land Manager with NERCO Oil & Gas Co. Her work in the A&D field for the oil and gas industry began in 1986. She is a member of AAPL, HAPL, NALTA, ALTA, NADOA, HADOA and Houston Producer’s Forum. Ms. Kerby received her bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma and is a fervent supporter of the Houston arts community.
CAROLE FIELD is a Certified Division Order Analyst who has been active in the oil and gas industry in a variety of disciplines since 1980. She began her career with Getty Oil Company and subsequently worked for Texaco, Amerada Hess, MetFuel Inc. and Apache Corporation. She has worked with Terra Firma since 2005, most recently as a Project Manager with a focus on system conversion, transition and lease project management for both oil and gas and coal. She presented at the annual P2 Energy Solutions User Conference in Orlando, Florida in 2009. She is an active member of Houston Association of Division Order Analysts and National Association of Division Order Analysts.
LINDA NODLER - With over 30 years’ land and land administration experience, Ms. Nodler’s expertise includes land information requirements, processes, procedures and system applications for both producers and first purchasers. She was the user representative for the land department in a corporate-wide information and system design project at Transco Exploration and has conducted land information assessments for Natomas, Peoples Energy and Mariner Energy, among others. She has held land administration management or supervisory positions at various companies, including Natomas North America, Union Texas Petroleum, Sonat Exploration, El Paso and Mariner Energy. She has specific user experience with land systems, such as LeaseData versions (TLS predecessor), Domain, PREMAS, and multiple Excalibur modules, with some exposure to Quorum and Enertia. She is a member of NADOA and HADOA.
ANGEL TUCKER has been a Project Manager for Terra Firma Ventures since 2006, specializing in Acquisitions, Divestitures and Mergers. She has been in the oil and gas industry since 1982 in various positions, including Land Manager for Gothic Energy Corporation and Pan Western Energy Corporation, Land Administration Manager for Santa Fe Minerals, Inc., Landman for Vintage Petroleum, Inc., and as an oil and gas consultant. She was most recently involved with large-scale acquisitions of properties in the Marcellus, Haynesville, Bakken and Barnett shale plays. She is an active member of American Association of Professional Landmen and Tulsa Association of Professional Landmen.
