CHRISTINE KENWORTHY
Founder and Principal
Chris Kenworthy’s extensive background in the oil business provides the backbone of Terra Firma Ventures, which she founded in 1997. Prior to forming the company, she was CEO and Land VP of Cambridge Oil Company after serving as a Petroleum Landman for various companies, including National Oil Company. She began A&D consulting in 1990.
A longtime Houston resident, Chris has a bachelor’s degree in business, majoring in Petroleum Land Management from University of Houston-DT. She currently serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations.

NANCY KERBY
Principal
Nancy brought her exceptional background in energy to Terra Firma in 2002, joining as a Principle. Prior to, she was the owner and President of The Kerby Group, an A&D consulting firm. Her work in the A&D field for the oil and gas industry began in 1986. Past positions include Director of Acquisitions for Unocal, Acquisitions Manager for RAMCO Oil & Gas Company, Director of Investor Relations with Plains Resources, and District Land Manager with NERCO Oil & Gas Co.
Nancy received her bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma and is a fervent supporter of the Houston arts community.

MARYLYNN L. GOMEZ
Business Development Manager
Marylynn began her career in 2008 as a land consultant with BP then worked with Terra Firma as a consulting landman on our Sierra Resources account for several years. She then went in-house as Sierra Resources' Land Manager overseeing acquisitions and divestitures in addition to managing assets in Ohio and South Texas. She brings this dynamic skill set in A&D development and management to her current role at Terra Firma Ventures.
Marylynn received her J.D. from Oak Brook College of Law in 2004.
